Kitto's Place Daycare
Our Staff
Kitto's Preschool is a place where the children can have fun while learning. I believe that all children learn at their own pace; I do not push any child, I guide them. I also believe that children learn by touching, feeling, seeing and doing; therefore I have put together a very unique progam by using all four senses. They thrive on discipline, structure, love and routine. All of my teachers and aids believe that children are important, and that they are our future. We believe at Kitto's Place Children must be able to be children, have fun and learn too.

Fiona Luke
I am the Owner/Director of Kittos Preschool and Kindergarten program.
I have worked with children for 20 years. I started in West County by the Russian River at Guerneville Elementary School when my children were small. I was a yard duty aid and worked in the lunch room too. I loved being around the children and started to work in the classroom as a Special Needs one on one aid. I worked at Guerneville School with one child for 6 years until she went to High School. I continued to work with children and volunteered as a Volleyball Coach for another 6 years. When my youngest left home I moved to Nevada to try something different and really missed working with children. I decided in 2009 to go back to school to get my degree in Early Childhood Education. I received my degree in 2011 and moved back to California (Dixon) in 2012 and began working for the Waldorf School in Davis as the Aftercare Program Director. I just loved their whole concept of teaching and wanted to learn more. They sent me to a few classes and I loved it. I left there in 2014 and started working in Dixon School District as a subsititude Special Needs Teacher. I realized that I really wanted to be with the younger children and help them prepare for their journey in school. In the past couple of years I have prepared and awesome hands on Curriculum that prepares children for their journey in life and school. My Motto for Kitto's Preschool is "The Place Where Kids Can Be Kids, Learn and Have fun Too". I love to really have fun with the children and teach them as well. It is so rewarding.
